Stahlfolder Performance Blades

Essential for a perfect cut. We use only the best quality steel for the production of our Original Heidelberg® performance blades - thus ensuring long life cycles and enabling the highest possible speeds and loads. We offer a wide variety of blades for different types of applications.

Slot, tear-off and punch perforation. With slot perforation, the paper is cut in a series of slots. This makes fold formation much easier and reduces material stresses within the folded sheet. Slot perforating blades with a large number of teeth can be used for tear-off perforations. Punch perforations are created using a rotating punch perforating knife and two plates. Punch perforations are deal for cross folding large numbers of pages or high grams.

Trimming tools for trim cut, edge trimming and strip trimming. Trimming blades are used to separate multiple-up folded sheets with a single cut. Edge trimming attachments are used to trim the head and foot of one-up folded sheets inline in the folder. Strip trimming attachments work with two parallel blades and trim strips from multiple-ups, mainly from parallel-folded sheets.

Scoring blades. Fast-Fit is a special creaser for folders that process covers and brochures with paper weights between 85 and 350 gsm. It stops the paper's coating and fibers breaking up during folding.
